Conference Information

Conference Passes
As part of your sponsorship package, you will receive complimentary staff passes to attend the conference general sessions, the VIP Reception for Platinum and Gold Sponsors with NetApp senior executives and sales leadership, the Platinum Sponsor Welcome Reception, and the Award and Recognition dinner for NetApp and Channel Partner presales and postsales engineers and consultants on Monday, November 16.

In addition to your staff passes, you will receive complimentary, or the option to buy, full-conference passes. Access to general session(s), technical breakouts, available certification training, and any partner sponsored events. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals are included. Hotel and travel expense are not included in the full conference pass. Your sponsorship package includes the following number of full-conference passes:

Once NetApp has received your signed sponsorship contract, you will be advised how to register names for your staff passes and full-conference passes.

Air Transportation
Sponsors will be responsible for booking their own travel through their company's corporate travel process. We recommend you plan on arriving and departing from Athens International Airport.

Ground Transportation
A shuttle service will be provided from Athens International Airport (ATH) to all accommodation hotels and the conference hotel on Sunday, November 15 and the morning of Monday, November 16, subject to requirements. Please ensure that you submit your flight details into your conference registration upon confirming your travel arrangements.

A shuttle service will also run between the Athenaeum InterContinental and the Divani Caravel and the Crowne Plaza Athens City Centre hotel throughout the conference. Transportation will also be provided from all hotels to the offsite evening.

Attire
Business Casual is appropriate for all business meetings and evening functions.

Climate
Athens enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate, however due to its location the Athenian climate is much drier in comparison with the rest of Mediterranean Europe. November sees daytime highs in the upper teens, but night-time temperatures can drop down close to 10°C. Around 50mm of rain can be expected throughout November, but often falls in short heavy showers so there is still plenty of sunshine.

At the time of Insight, Athens will be in Eastern European Time – GMT + 2.
